Roanoke Rapids Canal Museum selects
Flying Foto Factory, Inc. to produce audiovisuals and animation to highlight
their history
Roanoke Rapids Canal Museum has selected Flying Foto Factory, Inc. to produce two digital video based presentations for display in their new canal museum. Working to compliment efforts by other exhibit designers, these presentations will share the historical importance of canals and river life in the evolution of NC’s commercial and cultural development.
Both presentations will target a broad range of visitors to the museum. “Voices and Viewpoints: Life along the Roanoke River” is a documentary style presentation featuring diverse stories of life along the river and the varied cultural and historical impact to peoples lives. The “Canal Locks” is an interactive game using 3D & 2D animation to showcase the operation of the locks in regulating changes in water level to facilitate boats traveling along the Roanoke River.
“We’re delighted our digital production work for Roanoke Rapids Canal Museum will assist them in preserving the history of this important historical means of transportation in NC and all across the southern US” said Casey Herbert President of Flying Foto Factory, Inc.
